I have the pleasure of having chosen a career in the insurance industry. I have seen many business owners whose business continued, because of the right insurance protections, at the time of an untimely death or disability of the owner or a business partner. I have been in this career for 39 years, and truly enjoy it.
I began my career in Charlottetown in 1980 and shortly after I decided to make the move to Calgary. For eight years, I worked in the insurance and investment industry working with businesses and individuals to plan for the future. That was an experience that equipped me with the knowledge and experience to provide advice to many businesses in both the “west and the east”.
In 1988 I returned home and had the great pleasure of joining the staff of Charlie Cooke Insurance, working in the Cooke Financial company. In 2000 I began Benefits Plus Inc. Benefits Plus Inc. has operated primarily in Prince Edward Island with business in Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
My focus is and has always been to ensure my clients, both business clients and private individuals, get honest sound advice, the best insurance products, and top notch service. My motto has always been “I would never recommend any thing to you that I would not recommend to my family or best friends”. For this very reason I have businesses and individuals who have been with me for decades.
